Web App
Bringing live content back to life
Buzziit is an entertainment media app that prioritizes native, real-time content. From pure entertainment to live shopping experiences, they believe that Gen-Z and Gen Alpha consumers are shifting from traditional TV to more interactive and immediate formats.

Mission
The mission was to make Buzziit an essential app in the Live content landscape.
Objective
Buzziit was suffering from a low 10% retention rate. Meaning that 90% of the people who downloaded the app would never come back to it. My objective was to figure out a solution to significantly improve retention rate.
Research
We conducted interviews with a small panel of 20 live content enjoyers and asked questions about how they consume live and what they thought of Buzziit.

We found out that 0% of them were interested in a new native content platform. They also expressed that there were too many different apps offering live content and that it was sometimes not easy to keep up with everything.

So we came up with a new proposal for the company :
Aggregation instead of creation. By building a platform where users could plug all of their streamers in one place and making it easy to keep up with everything.
1st iteration
On the first iteration, I used a familiar design language, taking inspiration from streaming services like Netflix. The goal there was to create clarity and make the app as simple as possible, no learning curve. This way, users would know exactly how to work the product without needing a long onboarding. By making the experience familiar, I also made sure that users wouldn’t associate opening the app with having hard time.
Feedback
The client was extremely satisfied with my proposal and their only criticism was the lack of branding.
